INTEL CENTRINO WIRELESS N 2230 PROBLEMS PRO
Spark! Pro Series - 17th March 2022 Spiceworks Originals. It needs a systematic check of all those possible solutions or if a simple fix needed just plug in an USB Wifi stick and work from that. In among those possible solutions there is a suggestion to turn off Blue Tooth which can cause the interference and to increase the Power setting. Since there is a comprehensive set of instructions for possible solutions given by my reference then I think that it is a very common problem with that card. I suspect that the new Spectrum router will be agile in trying to adjust the channels which may give issues for that card. The fact that the laptop reports that the SSIDs are "out of range" indicates that (maybe) there is a weak signal OR a signal that is suffering from too much interference. Since the card can "see" the SSIDs I think the evidence is that the WiFi card is working and the Spectrum Router is broadcasting on both the 2.4 GHz and the 5 GHz bands.
